Professional Writing Training
Successful professional and technical writing can be a challenge whether you’re new to the workplace or a seasoned business writer. However, we don’t buy the old “you’re born a writer or you’re not” adage. Contrary to what many struggling writers in business, government, and the non-profit realm believe, we know that writing at work doesn’t have to be a chore. With the right knowledge, process, and guidance, writers can not only communicate more strategically, but also with greater ease.
The George Washington University offers professional and technical writing assessment and training to organizations both within the university and externally.
Customizable programs are available for large or small groups and on a one-time or long-term basis, allowing managers to increase the effectiveness of their employees’ writing by utilizing the skills, experience, and pedagogical knowledge of professional writing professors.
