At the beginning of December 2023 the University Writing Program Faculty and Staff went head to head in the first annual Holiday Bake Off! It was a hard fought battle full of delicious debating and festive cheer. Ultimately a tie was declared between the kunafa and passionfruit meringue pie, submitted by Dr. Nabila Hijazi and Dr. Mark Mullen respectively.
Our Fall 2023 UWP Holiday Bake-Off winners agreed to split custody of the trophy and share bragging rights - until next year at least! A big thank you to our UWP Faculty and Staff for making the holiday season bright and closing our Fall semester on a sweet note.
